Press Ctrl-Win-D to create a new one, Ctrl-Win-F4 to delete one, or Win-Tab to give you an overview of the current virtual desktops. Windows 10 (Pro and Enterprise) does have multiple desktops, or "virtual desktops" in MS lingo. I've used many of those tools under Linux (evince, audacity, avidemux, gimp) but it never occurred to me to look if they were easily available under Windows.
